A student will take 40 credits from one of the following groups
A student may take no more than 30 credits from MUS128, MUS130 and MUS140.
Students should contact the School of Languages & Cultures directly for details of typical optional modules at Level 2.
Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend a half session in each of the countries appropriate to the Major Subjects studied, in attendance as a full-time student at a university or other approved institution, or gaining appropriate academic or professional experience, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of School.

A student will take a minimum of forty and a maximum of eighty credits from 4C, with not less than twenty and not more than forty credits being selected from 4Ci and not less than twenty being selected from 4Cii.
In respect of regulation 4Ci:
If a student takes MUS301 they cannot also take MUS332
If a student takes MUS302 they cannot also take MUS333
If a student takes MUS303 they cannot also take MUS334
If a student take MUS3040 they cannot also take MUS3041
