A student will take 40 credits from one of the following groups
A student may take approved unit AAP1020 Professional Experience and Development 0 credits ACAD YR
Students should contact the School of Languages & Cultures directly for details of typical optional modules at Level 2.
A student will take a minimum of 20 credits and a maximum of 60 credits from 2Bi and 2Bii, not less than 20 credits being selected from 2Bi.
A student may take approved units AAP2020 Professional Experience and Development 0 credits ACAD YR and AAP244 Archaeological Field Practice 0 credits ACAD YR
Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend a half session in each of the countries appropriate to the Major Subjects studied, in attendance as a full-time student at a university or other approved institution, or gaining appropriate academic or professional experience, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of School.

A student may take AAP3020 Professional Experience and Development 0 credits ACAD YR
A student may be required to undertake vacation fieldwork as part of the attendance requirements for certain Archaeology units, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department.
