MEC6017 + No. Students registered on the Certificate may, with academic guidance and permission, drop this module in order to take the Advanced Individual Research Project (AMRC Industrial) in order to upgrade from the Certificate to the MSc.. Yes: only available to students studying Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (part-time). Candidates without traditional entry requirements (first degree) but who make good progress with this module may be permitted to upgrade to MEC6018. A student who has been awarded one hundred and eighty credits in respect of units listed at 1A, 1B, 1C and 2 above shall be eligible for the award of MSc (Res) Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.

In the event of failure in MEC6018 or ACS6324 at the first attempt, any resubmission is subject to the approval of the Board of Examiners.
