In the event of failure of SCS6057, a student may not progress to SCS6058.

A student may not progress to the second year of study unless all units listed at 1A and 1B have been successfully completed.

SCS6066  Practice Placement Two ACAD YR 0 credits

In the event of failure of either SCS6058 or SCS6066, no further repeat placement will be offered unless a recommendation supported by Special Circumstances is approved by the Board of Examiners.

A student who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits in respect of all 1A, 1B, 1C, 4A and 4B and successfully completed SCS6058 and SCS6066, shall be eligible for the Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work.

A student who has been awarded sixty credits in respect to 1A but either fails or successfully completes SCS6058, shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Social Care Studies (non-professional). The award will NOT confer eligibility for registration with the professional regulator.

A student who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits in respect to 1A, 1B and 4A but who fails SCS6066 (4B),  shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Social Care Studies (non-professional). The award will NOT confer eligibility for registration with the professional regulator.

A student who have been awarded one hundred and eighty credits in respect to 1A, 1B, 1C and 4A but who fails SCS6066 (4B), shall be eligible for the award of Masters in Social Care Studies (non-professional). The award will NOT confer eligibility for registration with the professional regulator.
