A student may spend the second or third session as a full-time student at an overseas university, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department.  During this period a student will take courses deemed to be the equivalent of F5 or F6 units to the value of one hundred and twenty credits.

On completion of Level 2, a student may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BA in Urban Studies (TRPU103).

A student will attend one or more fieldwork courses, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Deparment.

On completion of Level 3, a student may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BA in Urban Studies and Planning (TRPU104).

Before proceeding to Level 4, a student for the Degree of MPlan in Urban Studies and Planning must achieve a weighted mean grade of 49.5 at Level 3.  A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the Degree of BA Urban Studies and Planning (TRPU104).

A student must achieve a mean grade of not less that 49.5 in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MPlan in Urban Studies and Planning.  A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the Degree of BA Urban Studies and Planning (TRPU104).
