CPE6014   Safety in Nuclear Operations   (15 credits)

Description

This module will cover a range of aspects linked to safety requirements for a number of operations in the nuclear sector, and will follow a similar objective to the other modules of this programme in identifying hazards, quantifying risk and developing risk reduction strategies. Areas covered will include fuel preparation and handling, process flows, process monitoring, integrity monitoring and high integrity systems. These will be linked to their associated hazards and risk quantification.
