Application Procedures

How to apply

All applications should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).

UCAS,
Rosehill,
New Barn Lane,
Cheltenham GL52 3LZ

What happens when we receive your application?

Your application will be considered when it arrives, and we will contact you as quickly as possible thereafter.

If we make you an offer, you will be invited to attend one of our Departmental Open Days (via our online booking system) so you can see the University, the Department and the city, and talk to staff and students about studying and living here.

In early spring you will need to nominate your first and reserve choices from the offers you have received and notify these to UCAS. If you nominate Sheffield as your first choice, then as soon as the schools and colleges A Level examination results are released in August, your place will be confirmed if your grades match the offer.

If you do not quite get the grades specified in the offer, it is unlikely that your place will be confirmed. However, you are welcome to contact us.
