The University of Sheffield
Department of Animal and Plant Sciences

Open days

Coming to one of our open days is a great chance to find out more about the department, meet the staff and students, see our facilities and get a feel for the University of Sheffield and the city as a whole.

There are two different types of open days – University Open Days, which you can attend before you apply, and Departmental Open Days, which we will invite you to after you've applied.

Before you apply

The University of Sheffield runs a series of open days throughout the summer so that students who are interested in coming here can take a look around and find out what makes us tick.

You can book a visit to Animal and Plant Sciences by clicking the link below, choosing a date and selecting one of the Biology, Ecology, Plant Sciences, Zoology talks or one of the Environmental Science talks, depending on which courses you are interested in.
