What is BeCause?

Our take on corporate social responsibility is straightforward: we're trying to make things better.

Because we care about our community and the world, we try to operate in a sustainable way, minimising our impact on the environment. We stand up for equality and diversity. If we think carefully about the social and economic impact of our work, we know we can make a difference.

Latest initiative: Take part in Green Impact this year

BeCause we all want to make a difference

Green Impact is a nationwide environmental accreditation and awards scheme. Last year 26 departments from Sheffield won Green Impact awards and this year we want it to be even bigger and even better!

We need staff AND students as both have a role to play in Green Impact teams.
