This has been an exceptional day with informative individuals significantly contributing advice in a range of different ways. The interaction has been great and I truly feel like I have a plan of action re. my next steps. I also no longer feel alone / confused about my future. I actually feel excited to go and sell myself and know how to efficiently use my time in doing that.

The Careers Service is excited to announce ‘Life after University: Getting a job’ is back!
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to take part in a one day job hunting master class - a mix of intensive and interactive workshops sessions and presentations to support you to get a graduate job. There will be the opportunity to:
- Discover how people make career choices
- Hear from recent graduates about their experiences
- Find out how to promote yourself to employers
- Develop an effective job search strategy
- Plan the next steps of life after university… to get the job you want!
We will support and empower you to know yourself, promote yourself and present yourself.
Why this day might be suitable for you
If you are graduating this year and are not sure what you want to do or haven’t got a job offer yet, then this is the event for you!
This one day event will run from 9.30 to 4.30 on Tuesday 20th June and will be held in the Pamela Liversidge Building, Design Studio 1 DS05.
It is open to any University of Sheffield student who is graduating this year.
Taught post graduate students who are due to graduate in January 2018 may also benefit from attending this event!
