Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering shines in NSS feedback

The NSS results show the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering improve in graduate opinion again.

The National Students Survey is a nationally recognised and independent survey that asks final year undergraduates about the quality of their course, gathering honest feedback about what it is like to study their course at their institution. The compiled information aims to help prospective student make informed decisions about where they want to study while at the same time providing institutions with data to help improve the student learning experience.

The results from this year’s NSS survey show the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering has improved in all categories from the previous year. Not only that, the department is above the faculty average in five categories and above university average in six. 94% of respondents were satisfied with their course.

University of Sheffield tops the region for student satisfaction

The University of Sheffield has been ranked joint top in the region for student satisfaction and its Students' Union has been ranked first nationally, according to the latest National Student Survey (NSS).
