Former undergraduates and PhDs from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Andrew and Adela Shaw welcomed their first child, Esther into the world on 27 July 2012. Andrew got in touch to give us the fantastic news. |

Hello Folks, It is Andrew Shaw; Adela and I had our first child, Esther, recently. She was born just a few hours before the opening ceremony for the Olympics weighing 7 pounds 11 oz. I have attached a couple of photographs. We are still getting used to having Esther in our lives but enjoying every minute! I thought it would be nice to let you all know as we have very fond memories of the department and our time in Sheffield. Best wishes Andrew |
