Biography

Xiubo received his B.Eng degree (Jun 2003) in biochemical engineering from China and his PhD degree (Dec 2006) in biological physics from the University of Manchester. After his PhD, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the University of Manchester. In Feb 2012, he joined the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Sheffield as a Lecturer.

Xiubo was the deputy chair (2006-2008) of the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK (CSCST-UK). He is a Member of the Institute of Physics (UK) and also a referee for Analytical Chemistry, Langmuir, The European Physical Journal E, PLoS ONE etc.
