NHS digital transformation and development of the Yorkshire and Humber Subnational Secure Data Environment

Data Connect has been born out of a need to improve how quickly and efficiently researchers can access health data, as well as from more widespread changes that are occurring across a constantly evolving health data landscape.

NHS Winter pressures could be addressed by research harnessing big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence

Using hospital data from South Yorkshire and other regions of the UK, researchers will analyse patient flow through and out of emergency departments to make data driven recommendations on how to improve efficiency during peak seasonal times.
