Our main Campus in Thessaloniki, Greece
The main campus of the University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College is located in Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece.
The campus comprises three impressive buildings in the centre of the city, the L. Sofou Building, the Strategakis Building and the Tsimiski Building, in close proximity to its other.
The main campus houses the state-of-the-art facility, Information and Learning Commons (ILC), our research centre - the South East European Research Centre (SEERC), the ‘Rodoula Kehaghia Auditorium’, the well-equipped PC laboratories and offers numerous facilities and learning resources to support the needs of a modern learning environment. In addition, the offices of the top administration, as well as the vast majority of the administration and academic staff of the Faculty are also accommodated in our main campus in Thessaloniki.
The Leontos Sofou Building
The Leontos Sofou Building is the Faculty’s newest building that was added to the main campus in April 2009. The Faculty premises are located on the 5th, 6th and 7th floor in a space taking up approximately 2000 square metres. Completely renovated, this building houses most of the Faculty’s departments, facilities and services:

- The Information & Learning Commons (ILC)
- The Business Administration Department (BAED)
- The Computer Science Department
- The Executive Education Centre (EXED)
- Department of Student and Alumni Affairs
- Computing Support Services
- Computer Labs
- Conference Room
- Lecture Rooms
- Study and social spaces
- Auditorium
- Students’ Hall

The Strategakis Building
The Strategakis Building is located at one of the most central point of city centre, behind the Cathedral of Thessaloniki and houses the following:
- The Psychology Department
- The South East European Centre (SEERC)
- Humanities & Social Sciences Division
- English Language Support Unit (ELSU)
- Counselling Service
- Conference Room
- Lecture Rooms

The Tsimiski Building
The Tsimiski Building is an impressive neoclassical building on the main street of Thessaloniki which houses the Faculty’s administration centre.
The highest percentage of our diverse student body studies in Thessaloniki, where the majority of our academic programmes are offered.
With a down town main campus in Thessaloniki, Greece, the University’s International Faculty gives its students the opportunity to study and live in a vivid, easy to walk Mediterranean seafront city. Friendly diverse and safe, Thessaloniki is considered one of the best cities to study in.
