The department will host the annual Anglo-Catalan Conference from 9-11 November 2012. The University of Sheffield has a long and excellent tradition of teaching and research in Catalan Studies and is internationally renowned. We encourage members and non-members alike to come to the conference and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to hear stimulating papers, engage in lively discussion and enjoy meeting with colleagues and friends.

Alongside the conference the University will host a public lecture which will be given by The Vice-President of the F.C. Barcelona Foundation, Sr. Ramon Pont Amenós. Click here for details about this lecture.
