The Department of Hispanic Studies was awarded a rating of 5a in the recent HEFCE Research Assessment Exercise. This excellent result reflects the international profile of scholars working in the Department.

Humanities Research Institute

We have very close links with the University of Sheffield´s award-winning Humanities Research Institute, which has provided support for a number of research projects based in Hispanic Studies.
