Biography

Beky Hasnip returned to Sheffield University in June 2007 to join the History Department. She is responsible for all departmental admissions and marketing activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students and is the main contact for prospective student enquiries. Beky is the departmental contact for PhD students and has overall responsibility for current postgraduate students both PhD and MA. She is currently acting as Co-Departmental Administrator with Rebecca Phipps and is responsible for corporate planning, risk assessment and finance.

Responsibilities

Departmental Administrator:

• Finance - core departmental activities (non-research related)

• University open days (lead)
• Departmental post-offer open days (lead) (UG only)
• Ad hoc departmental visits
• Funding applications (PG only)

• Social Media

Postgraduate Student Support:

• MA student support (lead)
• PhD student support
