Research Centres
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is home to several successful research centres. Bringing together research on common themes these centres provide a focus for research innovation and collaboration. Vastly multi- or interdisciplinary, these centres often bring together researchers from different departments within the University of Sheffield so that a critical mass of expertise is formed.
This page lists the research centres in which members of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering are involved. A brief description of the work conducted in each centre is given along with a link to the research centres website.
