We have produced a range of free, evidence based resources relating to mesothelioma which can be used by health and social professionals, asbestos support groups, legal firms and others, to support the care of patients with mesothelioma and their families.
Patient pathway and experiences
This section provides resources from research that relates to the experiences of people with mesothelioma, and their families, across the patient pathway. This is from early symptoms, through diagnosis and treatment, and after active treatment.
Palliative care and bereavement
These resources relate to the provision of palliative and end of life care in mesothelioma, and support with bereavement.
Occupational risk
These resources are about people's experiences following exposure to asbestos in certain occupations, including the Military, education and health care sectors, and risk of exposure in occupations not typically associated with asbestos exposure.
Family experiences
These resources have been developed from our research about family experiences of mesothelioma.
Clinical trial experience
These resources are about people's experiences of accessing and participating in mesothelioma clinical trials and also as patient and public involvement representatives in research.
