Research areas
We offer a wide range of research degrees in a variety of subject areas including arts, health, humanities, science and social science.
A number of departments now offer a '1+3' degree comprising a Research Council-funded research training Masters followed by a PhD, and a number also offer a PhD with Integrated Studies.
Before you apply you should:
- contact the department you are interested in to check they have an appropriately qualified supervisor in the area you wish to study
- ensure you have the necessary qualifications to study here
- ensure you can meet the financial requirements of the programme.
