Where your masters can take you

Our graduates work in planning and property with private sector planning consultants, real estate consultants, local authorities and international development agencies. They have the skills to make it to the top in their profession.

About us

We’re rated #2 in the UK for research in this area. In the last Research Assessment Exercise (2008), only Cambridge had a higher average. The Complete University Guide 2013 puts us in the top three.

How we teach

We work closely with practitioners. Professionals teach on our courses and run site visits, fieldtrips and projects. We run field courses in London, Seoul and Cairo. We also organise work placements with planning agencies.

There are lectures, seminars, computer workshops and tutorials. You’ll take part in group work and exercises that simulate real-world challenges. You’re assessed on coursework and a dissertation.
