MA Journalism Studies (Web)
Department of Journalism Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences
Employers know our applied courses produce high-calibre multimedia journalists. This sister course of MA Web Journalism adds flexibility for students, particularly from overseas who expect to start their career in countries other than the UK.
About the courseMA - 1 year full-time If you're planning a career in journalism outside the UK, this course might suit you. The structure is similar to the MA in Web Journalism but you don't have to take the modules that concentrate on UK media law and UK government, leaving you free to focus on subjects more directly relevant to you. The course is not accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council so there aren't as many opportunities for work experience as there are on our other applied courses. But we'll do our best to help you find a UK placement if you want one. Entry requirementsA 2:1 degree, but we will consider mature students with relevant professional experience.
