What we do

Strategy, Planning and Governance (SPG) supports the development, implementation and delivery of the University's aims and ambitions expressed in its Strategy through the provision of policy insight, business intelligence, support for planning and change projects, governance and reporting.

In a changing international environment, we support the University in remaining adaptive as ambitions are achieved and new opportunities arise to move the strategy forward. Within the annual planning cycle we support the Executive, Faculty and Departments to respond with pace and flexibility. We run projects to develop strategy, respond to external funding opportunities and support internal change initiatives. The combined functions of SPG support the development and implementation of the University’s strategy by analysing new data and environmental changes, facilitating internal strategic discussion and by providing internal project support.
