Our volunteer Board of Directors decides how funds donated to the University of Sheffield in America are used. They are also active ambassadors for Sheffield in the United States.

The University of Sheffield in America is a separate legal entity from the University.

Decisions on how Sheffield in America donations are spent can only be made by its Board of Directors; all Sheffield alumni and/or donors, all volunteers. This separation ensures autonomy for the US Directors to direct donations in the best interest of both the University and its US supporters.
