Credit-bearing Modules

    The English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) is able to offer a range of credit-bearing modules to certain groups of University of Sheffield students. Please look carefully at the information below and click on the modules that best suit you to get more information.

      Doctoral Development Programme

      The English Language Teaching Centre offers two modules for the Graduate School Doctoral Development Programme. These modules cover the priciples and practice of thesis writing and the speaking skills researchers need. The two modules are restricted to only researchers through the Graduate School, so are not open to undergraduates and taught postgraduates. Click on the link below to find out more.

      ERASMUS and Study Abroad Students

      Some modules in the English language are offered exclusively to ERASMUS and Study Abroad students. In addition, priority for places are given to students who have English as a major subject at their home institution. Click on the link below to find out more.
