This course is suitable for UK, European and overseas applicants and provides students with a strong grounding in the fundamental principles of Diagnostic Oral Pathology including the principles of research that inform clinical practice. The course is taught by experienced senior oral & maxillofacial pathologists and scientists with international reputations in the field and includes seminars, course work, directed self learning and supervised pathology practice. This programme will provide a scientific and deep knowledge of the aetiology, pathobiology and management of the diseases of the periodontium. It will also provide knowledge on the inter-relationship of periodontal status with other oral diseases and systemic health. MMedSci in Restorative Dentistry 1 year Full Time or 2 year Part Time

The Master of Medical Science (M.Med.Sci) course in Restorative Dentistry is a modular programme of study that can be taken either full-time over one year or part-time over two years (part only for home students). The course combines core modules with more specialised ones in adhesive dentistry. The course is aimed at dental surgeons holding a primary dental degree with at least two years experience in hospital or general dental practice who wish to develop scientific and clinical skills as part of their career development.
