International Exchanges Unit (IEU)

What we do

•Manage the University´s two primary exchange programmes – Study Abroad and Erasmus

•Manage the staff teaching and training mobility element of the Erasmus programme

•Monitor and co-ordinate the nominations and applications of all incoming exchange students under both schemes

•Assist academic departments with promoting the exchange programmes to potential outgoing exchange students, including our attendance at departmental Open Days

•Administer the Erasmus grant to all eligible outgoing Sheffield students

•Co-ordinate the application process for all outgoing Study Abroad students

•Produce and monitor the arrangement of the majority of bilateral agreements for the Erasmus programme and manage University-wide agreements under Study Abroad

•Produce literature related to both programmes
