Entry requirements for students from Kenya
We have been welcoming students from Kenya for many years and our staff are very familiar with the Kenyan education system and qualifications.
High entrance requirements for our degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University.
All applicants are required to have an internationally recognised English language qualification such as IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum score that is accepted for entry, in line with UKBA regulations, is IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80. Please note that some departments may require a higher score.
The Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) English at Grade B or GCSE/IGCSE English at Grade C or above are currently accepted in place of IELTS or TOEFL.
