Listed below are the scholarships the University was pleased to offer to students from Russia who showed exceptional academic potential and started their studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2013.

We are pleased to offer scholarships to all international students starting their studies in the Faculties of Engineering, Science, Arts and Humanities and the School of Law in September 2013:

Management International Scholarships 2013
We are pleased to offer Management Scholarships to Russian undergraduate students starting their studies in the Management School in September 2013.
The scholarships are worth £1,500 per year each.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September 2013 in the Management School.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
- The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required in first or subsequent years.
- The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.
- The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Social Science International Scholarships 2013
We are pleased to offer Social Science Scholarships to Russian undergraduate students starting their studies in September 2013 in any of the following departments: East Asian Studies, Economics, Education, Geography, Information School, Journalism, Politics, Sociological Studies, Town and Regional Planning.
The scholarships are worth £1,500 per year each.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
•You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September 2013 in any of the departments listed above.
•You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
•The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required in first or subsequent years.
•The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.
•The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Postgraduate Scholarships eg MA, MSc
The University offers a range of scholarships for Russian students who show exceptional academic potential starting a postgraduate Taught Masters programme at the University of Sheffield in September 2013.
Russia Sheffield Scholarships 2013
We are pleased to offer the Russia Sheffield Scholarship 2013 to all Russian students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2013.
The scholarships are:
- £1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
- £1,500 each for students paying fees between £12,760 - £14,680
- £2,000 each for students paying fees of £14,681 and upwards
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2013.
- You must be an Russian national or permanently domiciled in Russia.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.
- The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required.
- The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
- The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying via Distance Learning are not eligible for the scholarships.

The University of Sheffield Kaplan Eurasian Postgraduate Scholarship 2013 (£5,000)
We are very proud of our association with Kaplan and their support for University of Sheffield international students.
There is one University of Sheffield Kaplan Eurasian Postgraduate Scholarship 2013, available for students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree studies in September 2013.
Postgraduate research degrees eg PhD, MPhil
The University of Sheffield does not offer research studentships or funding specifically for Russian students. There are, however, studentships and funding for which students from Russian can apply:
