Hi everyone
During past days we had a 3 week Easter vacation here in Sheffield. I was quite busy for 2 weeks of holiday with my dissertation planning, as the deadline is approaching quite fast.
I went to Spain in the last week of Easter with some of my friends after all my studying. I did enjoy my trip a lot because it was full of sun and rest on the beach. I spent 2 days of my trip in Barcelona which is a sea side city with lots of ports and giant ships. I spent my time to explore history and fun there. The FCB stadium which is located inside the city was charming and I did enjoy following the history of sport in the museum. MNAC was also stunning on the hill side of Barcelona with the Olympic site in the back.
I just returned back to Sheffield last Friday and started to work on my studies again. Spring semester is going to be finished in 3 weeks and these days are quite tough days for every student here in the university, so please wish me luck from your bottom of heart!
I will catch up with you guys later with more news.
Take care and see u soon

I start my first diary and it would be started by a special event in my country which we call Nouroz.
First of all happy new year to everyone and wish you all a very good year. This New Year was my first experience that I was away from home and to be more specific, on an airplane!!!! at the moment of Sale Tahvil.
At night I went to a Nouroz party with my friends which had been set up by the Persian Society at the University of Sheffield. We celebrated the first day of New Year with the guys from university and had fun with the program, which included haft sin, Iranian dance, Iranian food and Iranian music as well. It was a great experience in my life and I hope you guys have the same next year.
As for sharing a part of my educational experience nowadays, I am doing quite an interesting projects on steel frames and earthquakes. Seminars which I participated in, were of a high level standard and quality and I was really satisfied by my choice of studying in Sheffield.
Wish you a very happy new year and I hopefully will keep this diary up for you.
