The University is pleased to offer a range of scholarships to students from the UAE who show exceptional academic potential and are starting their studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2013.

Middle East Merit Undergraduate Scholarship 2013 (£7,000)
There is one Middle East Merit Undergraduate Scholarship, available for Emirati students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September 2013.
The scholarship is worth £7,000 of your undergraduate course tuition fee per year.
To be eligible for the Middle East Merit Undergraduate Scholarship 2013 (£7,000), applicants must be a national of or permanently domiciled in the UAE, apply for a study place by Friday 19 April 2013 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2013.
The Middle East Merit Undergraduate Scholarship 2013 (£7,000) is awarded on the basis of academic merit.
If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2013 onwards.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
The deadline for applications is Friday 26 April 2013; scholarship results will be announced Friday 31 May 2013.

The University of Sheffield does not offer research studentships specifically for Emerati students. There are, however, studentships and funding for which students from the UAE can apply
