Our relationship with Brazil
The University of Sheffield has a long established relationship with Brazil and we have been welcoming students here for many decades.
The first known Brazilian graduate of Sheffield graduated from us in 1967 and we are delighted you are interested in following that tradition.
Science Without Borders
Science Without Borders is a Brazilian Government scholarship programme which aims to send 100,000 Brazilian students and researchers on undergraduate sandwich courses and PhD programmes at universities across the world.
The University of Sheffield is delighted to have been selected as one of the participating universities in the UK and we are looking forward to welcoming students from Brazil as part of the Science Without Borders scheme from September 2012. The scheme is being administered by CAPES and CNPq on behalf of the Brazilian government, and supported in the UK by Universities UK.
