Being awarded the scholarship feels like an acknowledgement of the effort and the sacrifices I’ve made during my teenage and school years. I chose to study at Sheffield because of the quality of the opportunities. It is a prestigious Russell Group university and stands high in the global and national rankings. Furthermore, Sheffield is a friendly and welcoming city. 

I am enjoying the course and the cosy feeling of the university alongside the high-quality material that it provides. I believe that it could enhance my CV and boost my self-confidence. It is also a boost for me towards achieving the best possible outcome and gaining the knowledge I need for my future career.

I hope to finish my degree with the best grades possible and start my career. My aim is to work as a practising lawyer for a large law firm in the finance or criminal area.
