I chose Sheffield for its size which I prefer compared to bigger cities. It is small but we’ve got everything we need. The University of Sheffield is one of the most international universities in the UK, which I highly value and I've made friends from all around the world.

My course is amazing! Coming from a General Engineering background, I wanted to specialise in Aerospace Engineering. I have learnt so many new things and I have joined various societies which allowed me to socialise outside the studies and I've had memorable moments with them.

I feel grateful to the University for awarding me the International Postgraduate Taught Merit scholarship, and proud to have been selected. The scholarship allowed me to come to the UK with less stress, and I didn't have to take a part-time job as I had planned.

I hope that the rest of the year will be as good as the first semester. For a more distant future, I don’t know what I plan to do yet. But I can’t wait to live more adventures and I will have plenty to tell everyone about Sheffield. My advice for potential students considering studying at Sheffield is don’t hesitate to get in touch with students to discuss their course, societies and all aspects of student life in Sheffield.
