Accommodation availability
We'll update this page weekly with the latest availability figures for accommodation released for self-selection.
Self-selection has now closed, and the application portal has switched to preferences.
How we release accommodation
There are two channels for students to apply for university accommodation; self-selection and preferences. Self-selection allows students to go on the Application Portal and choose their own room from the properties available. We stagger the release of rooms throughout the self-selection window to give all students a chance to see a range of properties.
We allocate a percentage of our accommodation to be released as part of self-selection and hold the remainder back for students that apply via preferences or join us through clearing, adjustment and insurance.
Availability
Each week on a Wednesday we'll update the table below to show how full each accommodation block currently is, so you'll be able to see which accommodation is full and where there are still rooms available.
The majority of our accommodation is en-suite, if you want shared bathroom accommodation but all available rooms for self-selection have been booked, you can either select an en-suite room or choose to submit preferences instead. If you submit preferences you'll be allocated a room after results day in August. Please note you are not guaranteed to receive your first choice preference, but we try to allocate as close to your choices as possible.
Check out our FAQs for more information about finding a room.
