Virtual Reality, Graphics & Simulation
The VRGraphicS group mixes visual creativity, programming, and mathematics. We create virtual characters and GPU-based solutions for science and engineering problems, and work is applied in transport simulations and in digital heritage.
- Dr Steve Maddock's research interests include computer facial modelling and animation, human figure animation, sketch-based interfaces, digital heritage and computer games technology.
- Dr Paul Richmond's research interests include complex systems simulation, high performance and real time computing, GPU simulation (GPGPU) and interactive visualisation.
