Mikolaj Chmiel was highly commended by the judges for the Global Undergraduate Awards in the Architecture and Design category - which is a portfolio-based category. . He also went on to win the European regional award for Architecture and Design. The undergraduate academic awards programme recognises outstanding undergraduate work and preserves and shares them with a global audience via an online portal.
I am sure that there have been lots of interesting and advanced projects and it was truly an honour to have my work recognised by such an amazing jury as a highly commended participant amongst all the entries. I felt even more privileged when I got to know I was chosen as a European Regional Winner in the Architecture & Design Category. Nevertheless, I am aware and truly thankful to all the tutors that helped me, gave me feedback and pushed me to further explore the possibilities of the project!
