Mimick is a Digital Twin Online Platform or DTOP that makes it easy to combine models of assets or processes with both live and historical data.

Background 

Digital twins - a live, digital coupling between physical processes or assets and their virtual representations in order to achieve some functional output - are a hugely powerful tool, with applications that range from improving process efficiency for manufacturers to planning the transport needs of entire cities. 

There is no standard or easy way to create digital twins. The options that currently exist are either limited in scope, tied to specific software ecosystems, or expensive one-off projects. 

This barrier to entry limits the ability of smaller businesses to use these powerful decision-making tools. It also means that when digital twins get built, they tend to be disconnected “silos”, which limits their usefulness.

Solution

We are working on a flexible, open, web-based platform for building digital twins. It connects to the software companies are already using, reducing the barrier to entry and increasing trust. We aim to make digital twins quicker and easier to build, with more flexibility to adapt to future needs.
