Event: Rethinking Parks in Partnership, 28th January 2016

Rethinking Parks in Partnership will take place on Thursday 28th January in the Arts Tower

How can parks remain free and open, in the midst of local authority finding cuts?

The Department of Landscape, in conjunction with Nesta, is hosting a free, one-day event that aims to address this question and understand issues relating to the funding and sustainability of parks and green spaces.

Rethinking Parks in Partnership will take place on Thursday 28th January in the Arts Tower, The University of Sheffield.

The event will be relevant to local government policy makers, green space and parks managers and local and national green space groups interested in understanding the opportunity for parks and other civic spaces in the current economic climate.

Plenary discussions will cover recent insights and research and will form the basis for a wider debate.

Rethinking Parks is a project run by the innovation charity Nesta.
