Landscape50: The Future of Landscape Architecture
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Department of Landscape, we brought together leading thinkers from around the world for Landscape50, a landmark international conference that set out a bold vision for the future of Landscape Architecture.
Held in the packed ballroom of Sheffield City Hall, Landscape50 was attended by over 300 delegates, who had travelled from all over the world and included landscape practitioners, alumni and senior representatives from the Landscape Institute.
A bold vision for the future of the Profession
Hailing from five continents and leaders in their diverse fields, the Landscape50 speakers were selected to present a wide-ranging and ambitious vision for the future of the profession.
The audience was treated to presentations touching on issues from the fundamental importance of nature in cities to the future of human life in an urbanising world.
