Sharan Kaur joined the AMRC in 2020 with a background in robotics and automation. They are currently leading the development of industry 5.0 capabilities and technologies across the advanced manufacturing research centre. Industry 5.0 builds up on industry 4.0 to include humans as part of cyber-physical systems.
Sharan's current research focus is digitalising human state for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotic systems. This research builds towards achieving true human robot collaboration where humans and robots work together.
