Department are finalists for the IChemE Global Awards 2019

The Department is joining more than 100 finalist entries from around the world and in with a chance of winning a trophy for excellence in chemical engineering at the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Awards 2019.

The IChemE Global Awards celebrate chemical and process engineering excellence. Now in their 25th year, they are widely considered the world’s most prestigious chemical engineering awards and recognise outstanding projects, people and companies.

There are 17 categories across the awards and the department has been entered in two;

Energy - University of Sheffield, Imperial College London, and Newcastle University, UK - Assessment of Intensified Solvent-based CO2 Capture

Research Project - University of Sheffield, Imperial College London, and Newcastle University, UK - Assessment of Intensified Solvent-based CO2 Capture

The best entry across all 17 categories will receive the IChemE Outstanding Achievement in Chemical and Process Engineering Award.
