- Profile
-
I obtained a dual BA degree in Business Management and Information Management at the University of Sheffield in 2009.
I then completed a MSC in Information Systems at University of Sheffield’s Information School in 2010 where I did my dissertation analysing the effectiveness of browser-based conceptual mini-games on learning in the mathematics field.
I worked as a freelance UX designer before starting my PhD. Throughout my PhD I have worked as a teaching assistant on various Business/Information System related modules.
PhD project
Title: "Educational games and their impact on mathematics anxiety in University students."
My research aims to identify the extent to which mathematics computer games affect mathematics anxiety in University students, and furthermore understand the gameplay mechanics, design features and themes of games that affect mathematics anxiety while students play.
