MSc(Res) Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technology in Collaboration with 3D Infinite Printing Technology (Qingdao, China)

The University of Sheffield is very pleased to announce the launch of a new MSc in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technology.

Dr Kamran Mumtaz from the Centre for Advanced Additive Manufacturing (AdAM) visited China in November 2016 to officially launch this new programme with Chinese partner 3D Infinite Printing Technology.

In this course, which is aimed at aimed at both new graduates and professional mechanical engineers, students will enhance their knowledge and skills in the rapidly developing field of additive manufacturing (also known as 3D printing) and advanced manufacturing technologies.

“3D Infinite Printing Technology have started key initiatives for progressing additive manufacturing/3D Printing capability and knowledge in China. We are very pleased to be collaborating with them and their new additive manufacturing centre in Qingdao. 3D Infinite Technology will be the University’s official representative and recruiting agents for this MSc programme within mainland China”, says Dr Mumtaz.

3D Infinite Technology are based in Qingdao China (with other sites and offices in Beijing, Suzhou, Chengdu and Shenzen).
