We'll help you plan for your future and make the most of training and development opportunities. Our aim is to help you find the job you want.
You'll have careers advice from experts who know about your academic discipline and have links with your department. We run workshops on CV writing, presentation skills and preparing for interviews.
You'll have the support of specialists who are dedicated to working with PhD students. You can book one-to-one meetings and take part in group sessions. We run workshops, skills sessions and employer-led development sessions.
Work experience and job hunting
If you're looking for work experience or a part-time job while you study, our Student Jobshop is the place to go. We also advertise local part-time, temporary and other work experience opportunities on our website.
Students and graduates can search for placements and the latest graduate vacancies on our job search site.
