Quantifying Uncertainty in Integrated Catchment Studies (QUICS) is an EU funded FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) which will run for 4 years from 1st June 2014.
The overall aim of QUICS is to provide high levels of training and carry out research in order to take the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) to the next level and improve water quality management by assessing the uncertainty of integrated catchment model water quality predictions.
The project will employ twelve Early Stage Researchers (PhD Fellows) and four Experienced Researchers.
The QUICS ITN comprises 9 partners who are universities, research institutes and commercial enterprises where the researchers will be based. The project also includes 10 associate partners who are involved in training and also host the researchers during secondments.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 607000.
