Quantifying Uncertainty in Integrated Catchment Studies (QUICS) was an EU funded FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) which ran for 4 years from 1st June 2014.
The overall aim of QUICS was to provide high levels of training and carry out research in order to take the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) to the next level and improve water quality management by assessing the uncertainty of integrated catchment model water quality predictions.
The project employed twelve Early Stage Researchers (PhD Fellows) and four Experienced Researchers.
The QUICS ITN comprised 9 partners who are universities, research institutes and commercial enterprises where the researchers were be based. The project also included 11 associate partners who were involved in training and also hosted the researchers during secondments.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 607000.
