Profile

My previous work has included living in Spain for a number of years teaching English as a foreign language, and managing a recruitment company. I joined the University of Sheffield in 1996 as a Masters Course Administrator and PA to Professor Tantam.

I came to ScHARR having left a PA and Administrator role on a collaborative (School of Education/Department of Sociological Studies) Home Office funded research project, during which time I was awarded the Executive Secretary Diploma by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. My previous post was PA to Professor John Brazier and secretary to the Sheffield Health Economics Group in ScHARR.

I was awarded a BA Hons degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies at Department for Lifelong Learning, and my dissertation subject was centred on racism and the marginalisation of Afro-Cubans living in Cuba.
