Jonathan holds a MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield and is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET). He is the Technical Fellow for Digital Twins at the AMRC and focuses on their adoption within the manufacturing sector. He has led grant funded and specific client projects involving digital twins and the underpinning architecture of digital solutions. He was also the principle author of the acclaimed "Untangling the Requirements of a Digital Twin" breaking down the misconceptions about digital twins.

Digital twins and surrounding technologies including the application of: data visualisation, real-time engines including extended reality (XR), adoption of data consumption layers such as unified namespace and integration of prediction tools.
