My main areas of interest relate architectural humanities and heritage (cultural and natural) to understand and represent experiences and discourses of absence in cities and landscapes, and their multi-layered formation. Further areas of interest and expertise are the perception and memory of places, design research in architecture and art, environmental humanities, and advanced recording technologies. My most recent research project proposes to investigate the relations between memory, nature and the climate crisis in post-industrial sites.
